Approach
Many illnesses have a strong root in stress.
This applies to physical as well as psychosocial challenges. The result is entrenched patterns of disorder and deficiency. And that is a great pity, once you realise that relief is usually closer at hand than expected.
For such conditions, findings or preventive questions, I offer you a fresh medical perspective on your situation – within a structured health check-up or as a second opinion.
Our trusting dialogue plays a key role in this. Embedded within it are a thorough physical examination, laboratory analyses including a micronutrient check, and ultrasound examinations. Your existing prescriptions can be reviewed, but will gladly be continued in coordination with your other doctors.
The aim of our collaboration is to give you orientation and confidence, so that you can make informed decisions that are medically sound and right for you. With regard to micronutrients and food supplements, you will receive a recommendation tailored specifically to you.
I look forward to working together.

About me
Listening, thinking clearly, acting responsibly
It has always mattered to me to listen to people seriously, to think clearly in medical terms and to act responsibly. I combine competence in internal medicine with a calm, attentive manner of encounter.
I understand healing not as control, but as a relationship between equals – carried by knowledge, experience and respect for that which cannot be fully steered.
I am married and have two grown-up daughters.

Collaboration
Training stress regulation – together with Natascha Battus
Together with my wife, Natascha Battus, we offer health-oriented training in the body's own stress regulation, based on the Zurich Resource Model ZRM®.
The aim is to secure health and performance not through yet more endurance, but through conscious self-direction, inner clarity and sustainable regeneration over the long term.
Self-direction instead of endurance
The Zurich Resource Model is a scientifically grounded training programme for self-regulation. It helps you to activate your own resources consciously and to meet demands sustainably – as a complement to medical care.
Appointments
Book an appointment
This is not a walk-in practice. Please arrange an appointment in advance – by telephone or e-mail.
Please do not send particularly sensitive health data via unencrypted e-mail. For an appointment request, your name and a callback number are sufficient.
How it works
-
First appointment in person
Personal first contact at the practice – with an in-depth conversation, physical examination and diagnostics. Also possible online by arrangement.
-
Continuing online
Subsequent appointments usually take place online – independent of location and without travel.
-
Follow-up as required
In-person or online follow-up appointments are arranged whenever they are medically useful.
Costs and billing
Medical services are billed via the Swiss basic health insurance (Grundversicherung). Certain services – in particular extended laboratory analyses, micronutrient testing and preventive health check-ups – are not part of the mandatory benefits catalogue. Laboratory analyses are invoiced privately by the laboratory. Other services I invoice privately; depending on your supplementary insurance, these as well as the laboratory services may be covered in full or in part. How your case will be billed is something we discuss before any examination.
